Important fact:

At the time, the castle from the 13th century replaced a moth castle from the 9th century. The building has been used as a youth training center since 1946. The round so-called Ballturm is the oldest part of the castle (13th century). The tower was given a characteristic roof in the 17th century during a major conversion.
